Riverside Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Hospital OB Scrub Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our obstetric surgeries by providing expert assistance in the operating room. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to support high-quality patient care during deliveries and related procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in sterile techniques will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of care in our busy obstetrics department.

Lifting of patients off their beds that are unable to move independently is done with assistive lifting equipment. Horizontal movement of patients to and from carts/beds who are unable to move independently is done with assistive lifting equipment. Filled laundry bags are filled half full so as not to weigh more than 35#. Carry meal trays approx 5-65 ft waist high. Fire extinguisher may be carried up five flights of stairs and several hundred yards in an emergency.

Environmental Factors & Special Hazards

Protective Clothing Required: Gowns, gloves, goggles, masks as needed for universal precautions.
