Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
- Strong understanding of security and safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and access control systems.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Proficiency in using security equipment, including surveillance systems and alarm panels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Required Licensure/Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Education
- Additional training or certification in security, de-escalation, or law enforcement is preferred.
